Assisted living does not require moving apartments, and simply includes extra care. This makes Bear Creek a fantastic option for aging in place. It’s also great for seniors who may struggle with transitions and do not want to move repeatedly as they get older.
Bear Creek also has robust skilled nursing and memory care programs, which allow even more opportunities to age in place. This means that couples who require different levels of care can stay together at Bear Creek. Bear Creek has many couples who have been able to stay together in the same apartment, no matter what challenges come their way. If your loved one’s level of care changes, it’s easy to move within the community to different levels of care as necessary. In-house short-term rehabilitation care is available to all residents. For example, some residents may live in our Skilled Nursing wing for a few weeks as they recover from an injury or illness. Then, they return to their usual Assisted Living apartment once they have recovered.
Bear Creek also provides respite care for seniors who are on hospice, or high-level care whose families may need extra help. Dedicated respite rooms are available for short-term stays of as little as a week or two.

Bear Creek Assisted & Senior Living Apartments
Senior living apartments at Bear Creek are the among the largest and most luxurious senior living apartments in Colorado Springs. A recent renovation has made each luxury apartment peaceful and beautiful, with warm, cozy colors, and high-end finishes in the spacious bathrooms. All apartments have kitchenettes with mini-fridges and microwaves. There are sixteen floor plans to choose from, with studio, one- and two-bedroom options. Each apartment has large windows and gets lots of natural sunlight.
All apartments come with individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and bathrooms designed for safety as well as comfort. You can also enjoy weekly housekeeping and linen services, same-day maintenance responses, and month-by-month contracts. All residents are given an emergency pendant and have access to on-call personal care 24 hours a day.
Bear Creek Fine Dining
Bear Creek has a friendly, cozy dining room with a two-sided fireplace, lots of light, and all-day restaurant-style dining. This includes 3 meals a day and more than 10 chef-prepared choices at each meal. The bistro is stocked with coffee, pastries, and other snacks all day long. Residents and their families report great restaurant-quality food and kind staff members who are always willing to offer assistance.
