After enjoying some peace and quiet, you head down to the restaurant-style dining room to get the fun started. The dining room is open all day, just like any great restaurant–but with huge windows and incredible views of the Wasatch mountains. You’re seated by a server at a table with your friends, and you choose your favorite breakfast from the homestyle menu. There are no wrong choices from fantastic Chef Gary. Plus, a couple of the cooks make homemade Mexican dishes that just might be the best Mexican food in Utah!

Life at Creekside is full of energy. It feels busy and active, with fun as a top priority. There are so many activity choices all day, every day, and there’s always something going on. You start your day with a daily group exercise class in the fitness center–staying fit is important to you. Afterwards, you’ll join a group of friends for an impromptu game of Rummikub in the bistro. You’re excited for the scenic shuttle bus ride later in the day, where you’ll get to experience these mountain views up close.
There’s so much going on, it’s sometimes hard to pick what event you’ll be attending! There’s a shopping trip every Tuesday, lots of musical performances, and resident-run activities. One of the residents here used to be a music professor, and he puts on a mini musical every month. Pool tournaments take place bright and early every Saturday morning. Thirsty Thursdays, where you enjoy a social happy hour with mocktails, are a highlight of every week. Plus, there are movie nights every Friday and Saturday. Literally every day has something exciting to offer.
Even More Activities: Creekside Goes All Out

Cruise Week was a hit–the community was decorated with a different geographic theme every day, with food and activities coordinated to match, and the staff dressed up. You “went” to Mexico, Britain, and France–without ever leaving Creekside. Your grandkids loved Disney week, too.
Holidays are also next-level. One year, live reindeer visited the dining room for Christmas! Fire dancers, a mariachi band, National Rubber Ducky Day–you never know what the day will bring here, but chances are, it’ll be a good time.

It’s so nice to always have someone to sit with, and to eat in the company of so many incredible people. Avocado crab boats are a fan favorite here, and you’re all very excited to find them as today’s special. You’ll head to a special game night after dinner, and maybe grab something freshly baked and delicious from the bistro (it’s open 24/7, so you can always find a midnight snack).
It’s been another incredible day–even though it was just an ordinary Tuesday. You never thought retirement could look like this, and you’re so grateful that your golden years can be spent at a place like Creekside.
