Beautiful, Spacious Apartments
Our community offers beautifully designed, spacious apartments, with a variety of floor plans including studios, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom options. Each apartment has a view, with large windows and mountain, pool, or garden views available. You’ll also have a full kitchen, with full-size dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, and microwave, and a walk-in closet in every apartment except the studios. Even our affordable studio apartments still have an open-plan kitchenette, dining area, and sitting area, in addition to a private bedroom space and bathroom. Bringing your own furniture means your space will feel truly personal and unique.
Bathrooms are designed for both safety and comfort, with accessible showers and grab bars to prevent falls. While every apartment is private, all hallways are internal, and everything in our building is under one roof. This helps us provide top security, and means you won’t have to go out into the heat during the summer months unless you want to.
As we previously mentioned, each apartment can be independent or assisted living. This means fewer transitions if you need more or less care later on, and your rent price won’t change. All of our packages include an emergency communication system and 24/7 access to staff. An automated daily motion sensor allows us to make sure you’re okay without disturbing your privacy and independence.
Our apartments don’t feel like what you might imagine a “retirement” community looks like. And we definitely aren’t a “nursing home”. These apartments just look and feel like…luxury apartments! Broadway Proper offers a uniquely robust, active lifestyle, with more than 50 activities each week. We have a monthly meeting with our residents to plan activities, so you choose what we’ll do every month. We even have residents run our activities if they’d like to! Our activities include Happy Hour every Wednesday with finger foods, a full bar, and live entertainment, holiday dinners, parties, outings, sporting events, shopping, and more. Many of our residents are veterans, so they have Veterans’ Coffee Chat twice a month. Our Activities Director plans a well-rounded calendar that includes educational and physical activities, as well as plenty of just-for-fun events.
We cater to what our community members want, and we support vibrant, energetic senior living. There’s always something going on and someone to talk to. In fact, one of our biggest ‘complaints’ is that we have so many activities, it’s hard to choose!
Resort-Style Dining & Amenities
Living at Broadway Proper is like living at a resort, including all the amenities. We have a unique clover-shaped pool with an underwater seating area, as well as a separate jacuzzi. We also have a garden, library, gym, beauty salon, puzzle area, and billiards room. Unlike other communities in our area, all residents have access to a 24/7 concierge, and housekeeping and linen services once a week.
Our in-house restaurant offers all-day fine dining with 3 chef-prepared meals and tons of options every day. You’ll be seated by a host and served by a server, and you’ll feel like you’re eating at the Four Seasons for every meal! Our third-floor dining room has incredible mountain views and phenomenal food. Executive Director Katrina especially loves our chef’s fish and chips and spinach and strawberry salad. We even have a bakery-trained pastry chef who makes mouthwatering desserts! To top it all off, a professional pianist plays the piano in our dining room for our residents during dinner several times a week–or try your hand at the keys yourself!
We have a consistent always-available menu and daily specials for variety. Residents also get 10 Room Service passes every month, if you ever want to experience this amazing food from the comfort of your apartment. Going to work or going out? You can also order meals to go any time between 7am and 6:30 pm. And, our bistro stations offer coffee, tea, and fruit 24/7.

The people who work here truly care about you and your loved ones. Katrina Ellsworth, our Executive Director at Broadway Proper, has worked in this building for more than 12 years. Our Health and Wellness Director has been here 17 years. Many of our staff members have chosen to make Broadway Proper their place of work for over a decade. These staff members come here and stay here because they know they are making a difference. They’re here to get to know you or your senior loved one on a personal level, and care for them like they would their own family member.

Flexible Care on Your Terms
Broadway Proper is an independent living community and 55+ neighborhood, but we do also offer assisted living services for those who may need a little more help. All assisted living services can be provided in any of our apartments, so you won’t have to move even if your needs change. You can bring your own car here, but you also have access to daily transportation services if you don’t want to drive. Bayada Home Health Physical Therapy is available on site if you ever need them.
