Daily Fun
Every day is a holiday at The Springs of Scottsdale! These are some of the just-for-fun celebrations we’ve had to celebrate every day.
Residents recently took a bus trip to Sedona, Arizona, to escape the heat. They enjoyed a delicious lunch and a little light shopping, too.
A pet’s “pawty” gave residents some much-needed time with furry friends, as well as a pet costume contest, raffle, giveaways, and more.
Cowboy Music Hour was a success enjoyed by all Springs of Scottsdale residents, who dressed up and enjoyed live music and drinks!
We have some very special artists right here in our community. This resident art walk allowed us to celebrate what our residents are capable of with some truly breathtaking works.
Residents at The Springs also used real flowers to create some spectacular spring floral displays for our community!
Everybody got new things without spending a penny at The Springs’ Clothing Swap. And they definitely found some great loot!
Late-night Bingo in pajamas resulted in lots of laughter–and lots of popcorn consumption.
A Sip n’ Paint Social Hour allowed residents to express their creative side by painting whatever project they wanted to, from tissue box covers to canvases!
Fun crafts, like these Easter bunny washcloths, are a great way to laugh and enjoy time together.
Springs of Scottsdale residents learned how to make (and eat) Pretzel Bread–a skill every senior should possess!
Balloon volleyball, played seated in chairs, was a great way to get everyone moving–and cheering their team on.
Proof that you’re never too old to have a good time! Springs residents got (temporary) ink at this fun social hour.
Horse racing like you’ve never seen it before. Residents were very invested in their chosen steed at the prospect of winning The Springs “Lucky Bucks”!
Our Edible Creations class is always a good time. This time, residents made chocolate covered pretzels with their choice of toppings.
Holiday Celebrations
Of course, we don’t forget all the major (and minor) holidays at The Springs of Scottsdale. Our holiday celebrations are legendary!
Our Mother’s Day Fashion Show was a great time for everyone. Residents modeled fun outfits and took lots of glamour shots!
Our local Boy Scouts troop helped Springs of Scottsdale residents celebrate Flag Day with a flag-folding demonstration.
This Fourth of July celebration, including food, drinks, decorations, and a local DJ, got residents on their feet!
Marilyn Monroe helped our residents celebrate Father’s Day in style! Of course, there was a themed party as well, with food, games, and decorations.
National Chocolate Chip Day deserves to be celebrated–with chocolate chip cookies, of course. Residents also enjoyed learning about the history of chocolate and chocolate chip cookies.
You need a margarita and a sombrero to celebrate Cinco De Mayo–as Springs residents know all too well.
Residents enjoyed creating their own custom Easter hats to wear on Easter Sunday.
Our resident couples celebrated their love this Valentine’s day with kissing booths! Everyone enjoyed dancing, live entertainment, and games as well.
Mardi Gras celebrations included mini King cakes, masks and beads, themed drinks, decorations, and more.
Our Grinch Christmas Party was one for the books. We’re pretty sure all residents felt their hearts grow three sizes as they experienced this holiday magic.
Live Music & Performances
Performers from all over the country come to visit The Springs of Scottsdale, but we especially enjoy performances from local choirs, groups, and musicians.
This morning choir performance by CHORDially Yours was accompanied by croissants and drinks.
A barbershop quartet called Tribute came and performed for Springs of Scottsdale residents. Made-to-order ice cream sundaes made their performance even more special.
Local entertainer and performer Carl Block joined the Easter Bunny to celebrate April birthdays and welcome new residents.
Dance performers helped Springs residents celebrate St. Patrick’s Day–along with green beer and Irish Cream cupcakes!
Famous local author Betty Webb came to The Springs for a retrospective on her work. As you can see, The Springs Book Club loved it!
