It won’t take long to feel like you belong. From the monthly themed events with live entertainment to courtyard patios perfect for relaxed afternoons, every detail is designed with community, connection, and care in mind.
You might still be wondering…
Can we afford senior living at this community?
Many of our community members come from modest backgrounds, and their retirement funds, social security, or long-term care insurance often cover the cost. In fact, when you add up expenses like mortgage or rent, utilities, groceries, home maintenance, and entertainment, living here is often comparable—or even more affordable—than staying at home.
Our pricing is transparent, and we’re happy to walk you through the details.
How do community members get around outside the community?
We offer scheduled transportation for medical appointments within a 10-mile radius at no charge, with a flat fee for longer distances. Group outings to shopping centers and local attractions happen regularly, and private transportation can be arranged for other needs. Of course, visits with family and friends are always encouraged!
How’s the food?
Meals here are an experience. Our celebrity chef, known for cooking for pro athletes and top-tier clients, now brings that same level of expertise to our community. Every meal is chef-prepared and served restaurant-style, complete with soups, salads, and a variety of entrée choices. Our bistro is always stocked with coffee, muffins, and grab-and-go snacks, making it easy to enjoy something delicious any time of day.
What kinds of activities are available?
We also host monthly themed events, shopping outings, word puzzles, crafting sessions, and even big community-wide gatherings like our annual rodeo and family night events with live entertainment. And because our community members help shape the event calendar through the Resident Council, activities reflect what people actually love doing. That’s why bingo is always packed—it’s what they voted for!
What makes this community different from others?
A few things set us apart:
● One-story layout: Unlike many senior living communities with elevators and multiple floors, our single-story design makes getting around easier and safer. Families love that everything is on one level.
● A true sense of home: From the moment you walk in, you’ll be greeted like family. It’s common for longtime community members to pull visitors aside and say, “Look no further—you’ll love it here.”
● Incredible events: We’re known for going all out—whether it’s bringing in live animals for our safari night, hosting a chili cook-off, or celebrating National Wine Day with a packed activity room! One night, families gathered for a spectacular dinner while an aerialist performer twirled overhead.
● Unmatched dining: Our celebrity chef has cooked for professional athletes and high-profile clients, and now she’s here creating meals that people can’t stop talking about.
● Award-winning care: Recognized with the “Best of Senior Living” award by A Place for Mom, we are proud to be among the top senior care providers nationwide.
What if my loved one needs more support over time?
We offer both assisted living and memory care, with the ability to adjust support as needed. That means your loved one won’t have to move to another community if their needs change. Memory care follows our Apollo Program, which focuses on structure, familiar routines, and sensory-rich activities to help maintain a sense of purpose and comfort.
What is memory care like?
Structure, routine, and engagement define daily life in our memory care neighborhood. Every morning, community members are gently guided into the shared spaces, where they spend their days actively engaged, not isolated in their rooms. The Apollo Program provides a structured yet flexible approach, focusing on activities that stimulate the senses and create meaningful moments—whether it’s baking in the kitchen, folding laundry, or reminiscing about past careers.
We understand that attention spans vary, so activities are designed to meet people where they are. Some community members participate in group sessions, while others benefit from smaller, more personalized interactions. Our team has also introduced additional staff to ensure that even those who tend to wander or lose focus have engagement opportunities that work for them. Through it all, familiar faces, consistent routines, and a warm, reassuring environment help create a sense of comfort and belonging.
We also provide educational events and support resources to help families feel confident and informed every step of the way.
How involved are families in the community?
It depends—some families visit daily, while others check in occasionally. Either way, staying connected here is easy. Many family members drop in for meals, spend time in the courtyards, or join in on activities, making visits feel natural and unstructured. It’s not uncommon to see families sharing Sunday brunch together, just like they always have, or laughing over dessert in the bistro.
And if you want to speak with a staff member, there's no need to wait for a formal meeting—our families know exactly who to call and feel comfortable reaching out anytime, whether it’s a quick text to check in or a conversation over coffee.
The care is full circle here.
The Stellar Living Foundation was created to make generosity a shared experience. Community members, team members, community partners, leadership, and owners all contribute to the circle of care. Whether it’s supporting a staff member through a crisis, helping a community member's grandchild go to college, or giving back to local organizations, the Foundation is how we lift each other up.
Is Orchard Park at Southfork the right community for you?
Hi, I’m Jazmine, the Family Advisor here at Orchard Park at Southfork.
Before I ever worked in senior living, I was the one helping my own family make tough decisions about care. I know what it’s like to want the very best for someone you love while feeling overwhelmed by all the options. That’s why I do what I do—so no one has to go through this process alone.
Here, we’re not just a community—we’re a family. Whether you’re just beginning your search or you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to meet you, hear your story, and help you find the right fit.
