Wake up to the sun–or, more likely, the rain, since this is Seattle–in your spacious, light-filled private apartment. Huge windows bring the beauty of the outdoors in. Perhaps start a load of laundry in your in-unit washer and dryer, or have a cup of coffee on the balcony. Ready for breakfast? You’ll head down to the beautiful Compass Rose, our five-star dining room, where executive chef Sean prepares delicious, unique, and beautifully plated meals. If you’re feeling more casual, you can make breakfast in your full kitchen or grab a quick bite to-go from our bistro.
After breakfast, the day is yours. You could head up to the 6th floor Clubhouse for a speaker or event, or hit the gym for a fitness class or a visit with one of our other wellness providers. But the best thing about Edmonds Village is the friendship and community you’ll find here. Forget spending an hour in traffic to drive across town to see a friend–here, your best friend lives right next door, or maybe down the hall. So grab a friend or two and come to one of our great activities!

At Edmonds Village, we’re all about letting you decide what you want your life to look like. So, most of our activities are run by our residents! Attend a class or guest lecture, do something creative in the arts & crafts room, or stop by the library. Want to get out more? With weekly outings to theaters, events, restaurants, shopping, and more, you’ll never be bored. Our full-time concierge can help you find what you want to do today, or even schedule private transportation (within 5 miles). We also have partnerships with Edmonds College, because it’s never too late to learn something new, and the Edmonds Waterfront Center, for even more activities and access to a shoreline walk by the Puget Sound.
Take a mid-day break for lunch with friends in the bistro or main dining room. Grab a seasonal meal with locally sourced ingredients and fantastic presentation, and then keep enjoying your afternoon. We know getting older doesn’t have to mean slowing down, so we’re here to support you, however you want your next chapter to look. Our location just outside the Edmonds Bowl provides easy access to downtown and the waterfront, so the possibilities are endless.
Come back for a delicious dinner, and don’t miss wine night in the sixth floor Clubhouse! With weekly housekeeping and linen services, none of your day needs to be spent cooking, cleaning, or doing yardwork. All that’s left is everything you want to do–and nothing you don’t.
Can I afford Edmonds Village?
We understand your concern–all of this sounds like it must come with a hefty price tag. But when you factor in everything that is included, it may be more affordable than you think. When you live in a 55+ community, your “rent” includes so much more than just a roof over your head. It also includes housekeeping, transportation services, a personal trainer, in-house gym, salon and barbershop, entertainment, events, and outings, and every meal of the day at the fabulous Compass Rose. Plus, our location allows us to be more budget-friendly than other parts of Seattle.
When considering prices for 55+ communities, consider everything you won’t have to pay for, including car maintenance, car insurance, home maintenance, utilities, lawn care, groceries, restaurants, entertainment, gym membership, salon or barbershop fees, etc. You might find Edmonds Village fits very nicely into your budget after all!
