KASZ comes to Orchard Park for socialization and participation in some of their activities, but you can easily attend more at Krug Activity Center in Downtown Kyle. And, it’s less than 3 miles away, so you won’t have to travel far!
City of Kyle Community Events
The City of Kyle itself is big on events and activities. Check out their calendar to see what’s happening this month! Recently, Kyle residents celebrated the Fourth of July with fireworks, followed by Art in the Park. - The Katherine Ann Porter Literary Center is the childhood home of Katherine Ann Porter, a renowned local author. It’s a great piece of Kyle history, and talks by visiting authors and speakers are open to the public. You can also make an appointment for a guided tour of this home.
- Does pie count as art? Here in the Pie Capital of Texas, it does! Texas Pie Company has, of course, world-famous pies, but it’s also a full-service diner with sandwiches, casseroles and quiches to go, soup, and daily specials.
