You might still be wondering…
Can we afford Helena Pointe?
Most of our community members come from modest backgrounds, and many find that their retirement funds and social security benefits cover the cost of living here. In fact, our monthly rates are comparable to what many retirees spend maintaining their own homes—without the stress of upkeep, rising utility costs, or unexpected repairs.
How do people get around outside the community?
Many of our community members still drive and keep their own cars, but for those who don’t, we make sure getting around is easy! We offer scheduled transportation for medical appointments, errands, and group outings. Need a ride outside of that? We’re happy to help you arrange third-party transportation. And of course, visits from friends and family are always welcome.
How’s the food?
People often say the food is one of the most pleasant surprises.
With restaurant-style dining available all day—from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.—you can eat when it works for you. Meals are freshly prepared by our chefs and served with a warm, personal touch. There are always multiple options to choose from, and the bistro is stocked with coffee, pastries, and snacks for whenever you feel like something light. Whether you're sharing a meal with friends or grabbing a quiet bite on your own, you’ll find it’s easy to enjoy eating well here.
What if I need a little help—can I still live at Helena Pointe?
Yes. Helena Pointe is fully independent living, which means we don’t provide on-site care—but many of our community members arrange their own support through trusted outside providers. Whether it’s help with medications, mobility, or personal care, you can bring in services just like you would in a private home. This gives you the freedom to stay in a place you love while getting just the right amount of help when you need it.
What if I need help down the road?
One of the advantages of independent living at Helena Pointe is the flexibility it offers as your needs evolve. Many people choose to bring in home health, therapy, or personal care services over time—allowing them to stay in a place they love while receiving support on their terms. We don’t provide care services directly, but we can help connect you with local resources, if needed. And with a wearable emergency response device included for every community member, help is always within reach if an urgent need arises.
What makes Helena Pointe different from other senior living communities in Helena, MT?
From the moment you arrive at our Helena, MT senior living community, there’s a sense of ease and warmth that’s hard to put into words. It’s in the way neighbors wave from across the atrium—and in the familiar faces you see among the staff, many of whom have been part of Helena Pointe for more than a decade. Our housekeeping team alone has cared for this community with consistency, attention to detail, and genuine pride for over 20 years.
Everything here feels personal, not programmed. Whether you’re walking the halls, joining a game of cards, or sharing a table at lunch, it’s clear: people genuinely enjoy each other’s company.
The setting itself is something special. Nestled in Helena’s scenic south hills, with the Sleeping Giant resting on the horizon and walking trails just steps from your door, the natural beauty adds to the calm. And when you feel like exploring beyond the community, local gems like the Cathedral of St. Helena and the Gates of the Mountains are just minutes away.
Inside, the apartments are surprisingly spacious—each with at least three closets (a detail people don’t expect, but love). And for those who want more room or privacy, a small cluster of charming cottages offers just that—without giving up access to everything that makes Helena Pointe so vibrant.
It’s a beautiful balance of independence and connection—quiet when you want it, lively when you don’t—and always grounded in the feeling that you belong.
The care is full circle here.
The Stellar Living Foundation was created to make generosity a shared experience. Community members, team members, community partners, leadership, and owners all contribute to the circle of care. Whether it’s supporting a staff member through a crisis, helping a community member's grandchild go to college, or giving back to local organizations, the Foundation is how we lift each other up.
