At Farrington Court, you get the best of both worlds: warm, classic decor, and beautiful amenities. All apartments have full kitchens with full-size appliances, high ceilings, and a convenient open floor plan. And, our bedrooms are almost twice the size of other communities in the Seattle area.
We also offer an entirely unique Signature Suite option, where you get to design your own space, from the colors and finishes to the appliances and flooring. While many senior living communities offer nice apartments, where else do you get to design your own space? This Signature Suite option allows you to personalize your living space the way you would your very own home. Because it is!
Once you’ve designed your ideal space (or chosen a beautifully decorated standard apartment), aging in place is easy, because assisted living does not require moving apartments. Kent is quiet and private, yet still offers easy access to Seattle’s world-class hospitals and entertainment venues. It’s also a very walkable area, with shopping, parks, entertainment, and restaurants just a few blocks away.
They always say “it takes a village?” Farrington Court is your village. Everyone knows your name here. It can be challenging for Seattle residents to make friends, but that’s not the case within Farrington Court! Daily activities and common areas help our community members get to know each other and form lasting friendships. Our long-tenured staff members also get to know each of our residents, and their connection is truly special.
Our newest employee has been here for more than 6 years, and many staff members have been here for 10, even 20 years. People don’t stay this long in jobs they don’t love. Farrington Court’s culinary program is really something special. Our own Chef Grant, who has been at Farrington Court for 13 years, recently completed his Cordon Bleu training. And perhaps more importantly, his cinnamon rolls and scones are legendary. The whole culinary staff works to provide nutritious, delicious meals that every resident will love. We even source local meat and seafood. Of course, full-service dining is available from 7am to 7pm every day, and we have a diverse menu with something for everyone. But our culinary team goes above and beyond to meet the needs of our residents. Every month, we have a “Meet the Chef” meeting where community members can express what they liked, disliked, and would like to see on the menu.
Want breakfast for dinner? No problem. Craving your mom’s special stew? Our chef will make it for you! Families love our food so much, they come just for the meals. Every day has our specials, daily offerings, and light snacks and refreshments offered throughout the day. And a dietitian helps with the menu to ensure you get healthy, balanced meals that will have you or your senior loved one feeling their best.
