Rosie’s Diner
Rosie’s Diner is well worth the 30-minute drive from Bear Creek. This legendary diner is fun for the whole family, with nostalgic 50’s-style decor and delicious, affordable food. Built in 1946, Rosie’s has stood the test of time. Regulars love the milkshakes, all-day breakfast, and friendly service. The menu changes daily, but it’s always incredible.

Joseph’s is open for lunch Monday-Friday and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, and reservations are recommended.
Bon Ton’s Café
Bon Ton’s is a senior favorite, featuring all-day breakfast and a fresh lunch menu. Their current hours are 7am to 3pm, and you probably won’t need a reservation at this cozy cafe, although it can get busy. It’s located at the heart of historic Old Colorado City, just 5 minutes from Bear Creek. Service is warm and friendly, and portions are large, with classic breakfast and lunch choices. Locals recommend the eggs Benedict and the patio seating, if the weather is nice!
La Baguette (Old Colorado City)
La Baguette is a French-style bakery and café with a stunning storefront and casual breakfast and lunch options. It’s also in Old Colorado City, conveniently located just a few minutes from Bear Creek Assisted & Senior Living. They’re open Monday-Saturday, 7am-6pm, and Sundays from 8am to 5pm. Customers love the French Onion Soup and french-style pastries. They also have a popular wine bar upstairs. This small cafe is best for couples or smaller family gatherings.
Jake & Telly’s Greek Taverna
Jake & Telly’s, also in Old Colorado City, has a large dining room and festive atmosphere suitable for larger family groups and visiting grandchildren. They’re open 7 days a week, from 11am to 9pm.
