The Oaks offers all-day dining from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., so you can eat when it suits you. Chef David and his team prepare comfort-food favorites like pot pies, homemade soups, and hearty burgers—all made with care and served by a team who knows your name.

Community members also meet with Chef David every month during our “Food for Thought” sessions to share feedback and ideas. That’s how favorites like chicken noodle soup and personal wood-fired pizzas found their way onto the menu.

Yes. That’s one of the things families love most about The Oaks. Because of our age-in-place model, couples with different care needs can remain in the same apartment while receiving the right level of support for each person. Many families find great comfort in knowing they won’t have to move or separate if one partner needs extra care.

Absolutely. The Oaks is known for its warmth and friendly spirit. It’s common to see a group of friends playing Rummikub in the lobby, neighbors chatting over morning coffee, or people gathering on the patio for happy hour. Our Life Enrichment team helps new members connect quickly by introducing them to others with similar interests. Before long, you’ll have a circle of friends who feel like family.

Every day looks a little different, but there’s always something to look forward to. Many start the morning with Stretch & Be Fit or chair kickboxing before heading to the dining room for breakfast. Afternoons often bring creative projects, shopping trips, or our High Adventure Club outings to places like the Musical Instrument Museum or a local steamboat cruise. Evenings might include live entertainment, themed dinners, or relaxing on the back patio under the misters. Life here has a natural rhythm—active, social, and easygoing.

And with LifeLoop, our communication platform, families can share in those moments, seeing their loved one’s smile and staying close even from afar.
