Enhanced Memory Care
Welcome to the Apollo program, Stellar Senior Living’s fresh approach to memory care.
You want your loved one to enjoy life,
despite their cognitive decline.
But your options may feel bleak.
Caring for a loved one at home often leaves everyone worn down—relationships grow strained, and caregivers find themselves running on empty. Yet, you can’t bear the thought of one you love disappearing into institutional care, becoming just another resident to manage.
Your loved one has given too much to this world to be dismissed by it.
Stellar Senior Living’s
Apollo Program prioritizes:
Education
Learning works both ways here. We’re here to help you understand this new season—through open communication, workshops, resources, and support groups. Meanwhile, you teach us about your loved one: their rhythms, their joys, their history. It’s this collaboration that makes good care great.
Engagement
Our mission is simple: discover what makes your loved one light up. Maybe it’s a lifelong passion, a way to contribute, or a lively debate. One former teacher still “grades papers” each day. Another woman rediscovered songs from her favorite musicals—and now fills our halls with spontaneous sing-alongs.
Environment
We design your loved one’s world around them, not the other way around. From the layout of their room to the rhythm of their day, everything bends to fit who they are. Safety and comfort matter, yes—but so do spontaneity, laughter, and meaning. No one is just passing time here—we’re embracing life.

Your loved one is multi-dimensional
—so is our approach to their wellness.

Physical Wellness
Fitness games, stretching, dancing, or quiet walks—movement is always adapted to what feels right for your loved one.

Social Wellness
Connection happens in many ways, from friendly conversations to group activities and visits with younger generations.

Spiritual Wellness
Whether in prayer, reflection, or time outdoors, we support what gives your loved one peace and purpose.

Intellectual Wellness
Curiosity lives on through trivia, storytelling, book clubs, or familiar pastimes that keep the mind active and engaged.

Emotional Wellness
Music, art, pets, and comforting routines create moments of safety, delight, and a deep sense of being seen.
Hi, I’m Evrett, President &
CEO of Stellar Senior Living.
At Stellar Senior Living, we’re a family owned and operated company, passionate about giving seniors a delightful retirement experience and their children peace of mind. We live out this passion in the 30+ communities we own and manage.
The truth of the matter is, delight shouldn’t stop with cognitive decline. Your loved one is your loved one—a fully feeling human—who deserves a rich and meaningful life, in all its stages. Our signature Apollo program was created for this very purpose, and I have to say—it’s one of our proudest accomplishments.
I was particularly impressed by the ongoing opportunities for family education. The community my mom lives in offers regular support groups and a 3-part education series on dementia and Alzheimer’s tailored to maintaining family relationships. This helped us better understand the challenges we faced with our mom, and that we are not alone in experiencing these things. We learned many strategies for communication moving forward.
The Life Enrichment Coordinator at the community my dad lives in goes above and beyond to create a home-like environment with many activities to participate in. She is constantly playing the guitar or piano for all the residents living there. They also have a friendly dog that lives in the community who brings a lot of joy and meaning to the residents – they get to take her for walks, brush her hair or enjoy pets and snuggles with her.
See your loved one
smile from anywhere.
With LifeLoop, our family engagement platform, you’ll have on-demand access to the community’s calendar of events, a record of your loved one’s participation, and tagged photos—so you can watch this new chapter unfold before your eyes. Log in anytime you’d like, or simply wait for your personalized email update each week.
You may still be wondering…
What kinds of activities are offered regularly?
Life doesn’t stop with memory loss—it just needs to be reimagined. That’s why engagement is at the heart of our Apollo Program. Every activity is shaped around your loved one’s story—what they’ve done, what they love, and what brings them joy. From music and art to pet therapy, trivia, sensory experiences, or simply a quiet walk outside, we create moments that feel both familiar and meaningful.
How are employees trained?
Every team member receives specialized dementia education from our Dementia Consultant, Rhett Wimmer, before they ever step into the community. And the learning doesn’t stop there—they continue with CEUs, micro-lessons, and coaching designed to keep skills sharp and hearts compassionate. The result is a team that knows how to meet your loved one’s needs with both expertise and genuine kindness.
Are education and guidance available for families?
Absolutely. Families deserve just as much support as the people they love. That’s why we host a 3-part education series, family orientation nights, and ongoing support groups. You’ll have the chance to learn, ask questions, and connect with others walking a similar road—so you feel equipped, encouraged, and never alone.
What will my loved one eat?
Meals are about more than nutrition—they’re about comfort, connection, and dignity. Your loved one will enjoy three delicious and balanced meals each day, along with snacks and hydration options that keep them energized. Just as important, they’ll share those meals in an atmosphere that feels warm, welcoming, and like home.
How will I know my loved one is safe, comfortable, and thriving?
You’ll never be left wondering. With LifeLoop, our family engagement platform, you can see updates, photos, and activity calendars anytime you like. Our team also provides regular care conferences and welcomes open communication, so you always know how your loved one is doing—and can feel confident they’re safe, cared for, and thriving.
How do the skills, abilities, and personality of my loved one contribute to their community?
We believe every person brings something irreplaceable to the table. By learning your loved one’s background, passions, and personality, we weave their story into daily life. That might mean rediscovering favorite hobbies, taking on meaningful roles, or simply being known for who they are—not just their diagnosis.
Does in-home care require less of an investment?
In-home care may look less costly at first, but it rarely matches the full support of a memory care community. Here, a trained team is always present, making thoughtful decisions and adapting care as needs change. Families can step out of the exhausting role of full-time caregiver and back into the role that matters most—spouse, daughter, son—while their loved one receives the consistent, specialized attention they deserve.
Stories like this one happen all the time.
In one of our Enhanced Memory Care communities in Utah, we had a community member who became restless in the afternoons. Heather, a memory care specialist, noticed the situation and started inviting the woman on walks during these periods.
On one of their walk-and-chats, it was revealed that the woman was a huge fan of musicals! Knowing she was from the UK, Heather asked if she liked Julie Andrews, and her face lit up! She started singing ‘On the Street Where You Live’ from ‘My Fair Lady’ right then and there. It was magical! She continues to bring joy to our halls today.
